How I Instantly Quit Smoking With Electronic Cigarettes

There has been a lot of talk recently about electronic cigarettes. They are the newest way to instantly quit smoking. They allow you to continue your smoking habit while getting your fill of nicotine, but without any of the tar, tobacco, or nasty chemicals associated with real cigarettes.

As a smoker I was highly interested in this new way to quit smoking, however I am also a skeptic. Therefore I did a ton of research into these electronic cigarettes, or “ecigs” for short, and weighed the pros and cons.

The results of my study proved to be very fruitful, and I was honestly surprised by what I found. Here are the results of my study:

Upon receiving my “ecigs” (I ordered them through an online free trial), I noticed they were professionally packaged, which showed me right off the bat they weren’t slacking in quality. I opened them up and tried it, and to my surprise it was a very satisfying experience. The nicotine is there, so I got my “buzz” if you will, but it didn’t stink, give me nasty breath, fill my lungs with smoke etc. I smoked right next to my smoke alarm and nothing… it didn’t go off!

The package came with a few different filter heads, and a battery charger (because it is electronic). There was also the option to order flavored cartridges! It’s safe to say I was blown away by the product, but the real question was “will this help me quit smoking?”

I’ll tell you this much… I haven’t smoked a cigarette since receiving that package a week ago. That’s simply because I haven’t had the urge to! With the nicotine in the “ecig” I can smoke anytime anywhere and no one can tell me not to. It’s a great way around public smoking laws!

The only disadvantage I found was it requires charging time, but it’s really not that much. Compared to the positives it’s a very good way to go if you’re quitting smoking. I have found “ecigs” to be:

And the worse part of it is that those that look up to you, may soon be copying your dirty habit. I have worked with lots of people who I have helped to stop smoking, who had been smoking for many years. It is not easy, but I know that it is possible.

Getting Started:

You will want to remove all the things from your surroundings that make you crave tobacco. This means that you will need to get rid of the smells from your car, your clothes, your carpet and entire home. That could mean throwing some things away, having the carpet cleaning man come over, and taking a trip to the laundry mat in order to use their industrial size washing machines. This is where it probably won’t draw too much negative attention and the waiter probably won’t care once you give a brief explanation of how it works. Once they realize that there is no smell or actual smoke they usually are ok with it.

The question most asked is; Can you smoke them in airports or on airplanes?  When using an electronic cigarette at the airport it is best to find a bar or coffee lounge. You might tell them before you use it just so they don’t think it is a cigarette automatically. I don’t mean tell each and everyone in the place either, telling your bartender would probably be sufficient.

As far as smoking them on an airplane, unless you own it, I would not advise using it unless you make sure the stewardess and folks closest to sitting around you know what is going on with your electronic cigarette smoking. If you get the negative vibe about using it on the plane you can always take it with you in the restroom without fear of setting any smoke alarms because it is only vapor. The idea is to be courteous and cautious when using the e-cigarette and you will most likely be able to use them almost anywhere.
